May holds profound significance as it encompasses both Mental Health Awareness Month and Lyme Disease Awareness Month, two causes that are near and dear to my heart. My daughter, Juliet, has been battling chronic Lyme disease for the last few years, which has had a significant impact on her mental health. Despite the challenges she has faced, Juliet graduated with a master's degree in mental health counseling from NYU, and is now embarking on her journey as a psychotherapist. I couldn't be more proud!

I proudly took on the role of a Lyme warrior for the Global Lyme Alliance, actively participating in their fundraising efforts, walking a mile a day in the month of May. Personally, my goal is to walk a minimum of three miles each day. To date, I have walked over 100 miles! I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all those who have generously donated to my fundraising efforts. Together, we strive to make a difference and bring awareness to this "invisible disease". We have a week to go!
